Focus on Sustainability
The Business Outlook Breakfast in April focused on environmental sustainability and regulations. That’s what the real function of the Chamber is – to ensure that our business community sustainable by influencing regulations. We are your voice, in the City of Brea, in Sacramento and in Washington DC.
Our Legislative Advocacy Committee continues to monitor public policy issues that may impact your bottom line and takes action when appropriate. We encourage you to join us in our grassroots efforts to ease the regulatory burden that California businesses are saddled with and to stop job-killer bills from moving forward.
One easy way to do this is to join the Chamber delegation on our annual advocacy trip to Sacramento on June 1 and 2. Hosted by the California Chamber of Commerce, this annual forum gives business leaders the opportunity to meet with state policy experts to discuss priority legislative issues facing California business.
In addition, you’ll find out how redistricting and the top two candidates open primary reforms and how it will affect the political landscape. You will also get an update on human resources and compliance issues affecting California companies, as well as gaining insight on the impact of international trade on your business.
Most importantly, you will have a better understanding of why California's business climate is the way it is, and what you, both as an individual and as a company, can do to help the Brea Chamber to improve it.
On a more local level, we’re working just as hard for you. We’re adding new tools and resources to our web site on a regular basis to help you grow your business.
